The goal of this program is to improve the management of uveitis, dry eye disease in patients with glaucoma, periocular rejuvenation, and interface fluid syndrome in patients with prior laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) surgery. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Diagnose infectious and noninfectious uveitis based on laboratory testing and clinical findings.
2. Mitigate iatrogenic causes of ocular surface disease in patients with glaucoma.
3. Select nonsurgical treatments that provide periorbital rejuvenation with optimal outcomes and safety profile.
4. Use surgical techniques to minimize the appearance of peri-orbital aging and preserve eyelid function.
5. Identify interface fluid syndrome in patients with prior LASIK surgery.
