Endovenous laser ablation is used in the treatment and management of varicose veins from chronic venous disease. The main indication for this treatment is disease that is refractory to conservative therapy with compression stockings. This activity reviews the treatment of varicose veins with endovenous laser therapy and highlights the role of the interprofessional team in the care of patients that undergo this procedure.
