Activity Description/ Purpose: Join members of our Gastrointestinal Disease Site Work Group as they address the challenges in treating gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. Surgeons will focus on identifying and tackling complex scenarios, especially rare cases, while learning techniques to apply fundamental knowledge to navigate these clinical challenges. This interactive session aims to fill the gaps in traditional training, providing surgeons with diverse techniques for addressing the unique demands of rare GI surgical oncology cases, expanding their expertise in the field. Target Audience: This activity is intended for all surgeons and other health care professionals who are involved in the treatment of patients with GI cancer. Learning Objectives: -Identify challenges in scenarios for surgeons treating GI cancers. -Learn techniques to apply fundamental knowledge to rare and challenging cases.
