This online enduring program aims to enhance HCPs knowledge of the multidisciplinary process for screening and diagnosing Alzheimer s disease (AD), as well as improve their ability to counsel patients and caregivers about the importance of early intervention. As a result of this educational activity, learners should be better able to: 1. Describe the multidisciplinary process of screening patients for early-stage AD; 2. Describe the role primary care providers play in the multidisciplinary process of diagnosing patients with early-stage AD; and 3. Outline strategies for counseling patients and caregivers about early intervention for early-stage AD. The activity will have downloadable slides and podcast to enhance learner practice.
