The Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) Mental Health (MH) Grand Rounds is a partnership between the VISN 16 South Central Mental Illness, Research and Clinical Center (SC MIRECC), and Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Speakers from VHA and academia present cutting-edge topics and evidence-based practices that address mental health care needs of rural Veterans. The purpose of this recorded, knowledge-based virtual training for interprofessional healthcare teams is to address the intersection of mental health and chronic pain co-morbidities. The Whole Health model provides a variety of tools to help the busy provider navigate veteran expectations and needs in the context of complex chronic conditions. This program will bridge the knowledge gap for providers and healthcare teams when it comes to addressing mental health, chronic pain, and tools to navigate veteran care for providers.
