Colorectal cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer death and is preventable. Colorectal cancer screening rates range from 39-51% in the VA, which is far below the 80% benchmark. Educating interprofessional healthcare teams regarding colorectal cancer, the available screening modalities, and recommendations are aimed to improve colon cancer screening in the VA. This recorded, knowledge-based webinar will provide education regarding the colorectal cancer screening guidelines and the VA National Colorectal Cancer Screening and Surveillance System (CRCS/S), the application for women Veterans. Reviewing and educating the available modalities of colorectal cancer screening can help interprofessional healthcare teams confidently discuss the choices available with their patients which can lead to improved screening rates
