The goal of this program is to improve treatment of menopause and management of Alzheimer disease. After hearing and assimi lating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. List the characteristics of perimenopause. 2. Explain changes in estrogen and progesterone levels in menopause. 3. Compare changes in production of testosterone vs estrogen after menopause. 4. Differentiate progression of disease among various types of dementia. 5. Identify risk factors for dementia.
