The CARSM is both a sleep clinic and a large research team from the Integrated University Health and Social Services Center of the North of the Island of Montreal, located in the Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal. The CARSM was founded in 1977 by Doctor Jacques Montplaisir, a psychiatrist and researcher recognized internationally for his work on sleep disorders.
